Pike lovers, here is a real treat for you: Le Clod's Bait!
Made in a totally artisanal way by Claudio Tacconi, a fisherman with many years of experience behind him in pike fishing both in Italian and foreign waters, experience gained particularly in the Baltic Sea, which has become for him a place of inspiration for being able to test and improve his baits, year after year until arriving at the artificial one as we see it today, after 13 years of testing and revisiting the initial project.
The Hybrid series is therefore marketed as a preview after 13 years of study, because test after test it has transformed into a highly performing lure which has given great satisfaction (and not only to Claudio) both in Italy and in international waters, managing to get lots of pike catches even over a meter (see photo).
This series is made of wood and the various liveries as well as the finishes are painted entirely by hand. The choice of shape, the type of armor and lead as well as the color combinations adopted for each livery, are settings that over time have allowed Claudio to obtain the best fishing results, this is not a simple bait, it is his knowledge, his time and his passion.
The artificial offers the best of its performance by using it at a depth ranging from 0.5m to 10m.
The Hybrid is an automatic swimming bait, its wobble combined with the sinuous movement of the grub on the rear make the lure highly enticing even in moments when the fish are completely apathetic.
The product is sold without armor , we recommend using size 1 treble hooks for the belly and 1/0 for the tail.
For the rig, to be mounted at the tail, we also recommend using a minimum 20lb swivel, with two split rings to connect the treble to the lure. This will allow the rotation of the bait during the fight, reducing the risk of unhooking the fish and also the risk of damaging the bait itself.
